Ebike tours and adventures
Six years ago, we set up the first UK ebike guided tours and adventures company in the Peak District, with our own high end fleet of full suspension ebikes.
In essence, we believe that the heart of cycling is about fun! With this in mid, that’s what our ebike adventures allow. Bringing together groups or individuals of varying abilities, fitness and skill.
Our ebike tours, day or weekend adventures are for everyone to enjoy equally.
Ebike guided tours are for beginners, intermediate or advanced riders. Its for families or groups of friends, similarly, its for those that normally ride alone – but don’t always want to!
Jaime and team are fully qualified, with the most robust accreditations in the industry;
- British Cycling Leader qualifications
- MBL & MIAS coaching qualifications
- Membership with the Association of British Cycling Coaches
In addition to the 30 plus years’ experience between them, racing professionally all over the world and growing up cycling in the Peak District. We will ensure you without doubt, have an adventure to remember.
There are many benefits with ebikes and they undoubtedly deserve their place as a cycling discipline.
All our ebike tours are graded and tailored to suit all abilities.

Weekend ebike adventures
Our ebike guided adventures allow groups of riders to enjoy some of the best trails the Peak District has to offer.
Over 2 days, its a full weekends riding. We arrange the accommodation, ebike hire and the routes.
You simply turn up and enjoy.
Regardless of ability or experience, all our ebike tours involve familiarisation and introduction of basic , ebike specific, techniques prior to the ride.
Designed to ensure all riders get the most from the ebike during the ride.
All our ebike adventures are graded, with the intention that you know before you book, exactly what the route is going to ask of you.
Using a recognised method of grading , which identifies how technical the route is by colour. For the purpose of understanding the skill and fitness level required, before booking onto your chosen adventure.
So that, beginners aren’t overwhelmed, or put in dangerous situations. Also ensuring more experienced riders get the challenge they expect.
These are just a small number of routes just to wet your appetite!

About the route.
Starting on the High Peak Trail, this relaxed and chilled out tour will take you across some of the most undeniably picturesque White Peak scenery. This route is split into thirds, nice steady cycleways mixed with easy going tracks and lanes, surrounded by gentle rolling hills.
Its graded green because its an easy and flat route that’s aimed at novice/beginners. During the ride we’ll pass on our skills to help you improve your technique and confidence as the day goes on.
Stopping mid-way for lunch/refreshments in the quaint little village of Hartington. Take in the peace and quiet and enjoy a coffee by the duck pond, or visit the Hartington Creamery famous for its Dovedale Cheeses.
About the route.
A perfect introduction to longer routes for those specifically looking for something a little more challenging.
Overall more varied terrain, from single track to open farmland and lots of ups and downs. Passing through some fantastic little villages in the heart of the White Peak, you can pick your own highlight, but ours is without a doubt, the deer on the farmland of Chatsworth Estate. Showcasing the Dukes and Duchess of Devonshires humble abode in the back ground.
Altogether a really fun and scenic ride with some added mountain biking
About the route.
Starting at Hartington Youth Hostel, you’ll certainly get to appreciate the extent of the White Peak.
The stunning limestone gorges of the Manifold Valley and Thors Cave. This route is split into thirds, nice single track mixed with easy going tracks and lanes, soon after combined with paved cycle routes.
Its graded blue/red as it does have a few sections of technical riding so it’s not a beginner route. However, the sections are walkable if you do wish to attempt this route.
During the ride, we’ll pass on our skills to help you improve your technique and confidence as the day goes on.
Finally, we pass some great villages with cafes, pubs and tea rooms so this is a great route for a mixed day out.
About the route.
Similar to our classic Ladybower route but not as technical. The route will take you around the Ladybower and Hope area in the the Peak District.
This route is designed to showcase some of the very best views around Ladybower, from the foot of the dam walls to up high from Hope Cross, but via more moderate routes that allow the intermediate rider to enjoy.
About the route.
This classic route as the name suggests is located around Hope Valley in the heart of the Peak District.
This route indeed has some of the most varied and exciting terrain, that will also provide some spectacular views over the summit ridge of Mam Tor. Appreciate the view point from Hollins Cross before dropping down into Ladybower on some fast flowing descents.
This is, without doubt, one of the ‘To Do’ routes if you haven’t ridden in the Peaks. You’ll be in for an undeniably great day out on the bike.
About the route.
Covering some of, undeniably the best of the uplands in the Dark Peak this is a good day out and pretty much covers every type of terrain you can expect from the Peaks.
You’ll be up against some technical climbs and descents, rooty and rocky trails with drop off’s. Taking in some of the classic descents like Kinder/Jacobs ladder, you’ll want for nothing – other than maybe a new set of legs or battery!
About the route.
This is a tough challenge even on an e-bike, you’ll need your skills as well as your fitness as you’re up against a *50 mile route across the stunning Peak District.
This is something unique to True North, as we provide double batteries that you’ll certainly need to complete this loop in the day.
The routes take in all the classic Peaks descents, extremely challenging climbs mixed with stunning scenery and remote locations go to ensuring you’ll undoubtedly remember this experience for a long time.
We have a number of route variations which consist of a figure of 8 loop. Seeing that at the half way distance, we drop down for lunch at a local pub or cafe for some much deserved refreshments – and a battery swop.
In essence, this is a good one if your training for a long distance race or if you just fancy testing yourself and enjoy an amazing day out. Regardless, you will remember this for a long time.
