Who are we?
True North Adventures are a mountain bike guiding and tuition company based in the Peak District, Hope Valley close to Manchester and Sheffield. We operate from the amazing new Bike & Boot Leisure Hotel close to Manchester & Sheffield right in the heart of some of the best natural riding in the UK. Jaime started in 2015 with the goal of bringing his passion for mountain biking and his newly found love of ebiking to people who hadn't tried an ebike or lacked the confidence or ability to take their riding forward. Leaving his Construction career behind it was simply a dream of his to take the sport he enjoyed and make a living from it and introducing people of all ages the love of mountain biking.
Our Guides & Instructors
Our head guide, instructor and owner Jaime, grew up riding in the Peak District from the age of 13 with his Dad. In 2015 he set up True North Adventures offering ebike experiences and adventures all around the Peak District.
Not only has Jaime honed his experience through years of guiding and tuition, his main experience also comes from racing at a high level. From cyclo-cross, to road racing, XC and Enduro competing all around the world. Having represented Great Britain in World and European championships as an elite racer he understands all aspects of riding, coaching and more importantly having fun.
Still competing in enduro races and adventure events he loves nothing more that passing on to others a supportive tuition in a relaxed environment.
